Red Tee Tour proves to be a massive hit for Lady Golfers in the UK

With main sponsors being the Andalucian Tourist Board this ladies only golf tournament raised funds for Breast Cancer Care and bought together golf venues across Europe to give 130 ladies an event they not only competed in to win cracking prizes but also one they had fun at and will come back again next year - with their buddies.
Four host venues across the UK being Macdonald Cardrona, Close House, Staverton Park and Wokefield Park- all offering something different and exciting to the visiting golfers

THE HOST VENUES
Macdonald Cardona near Edinburgh saw a small number of ladies taking part in the Red Tee Tour on 29th July.  Ideally located to base yourself whilst you explore the borders and Edinburgh this 18 hole golf hotel course offers a warm Scottish welcome, as well as good golf and comfortable hotel rooms.

Close House near Newcastle was our next venue to host the ladies tournament on 3rd August, a little known gem in the countryside just outside Newcastle offering 36 holes of great golf and a lovely hotel on site.  A Lee Westward attached property is worth a visit any day.

7th August. Staverton Park in Northamptonshire was our next venue for the Red Tee Tour, a great little parkland course with hotel and conference facilities on site of this 18 hole golf course.

The final of our regional tournaments was at Wokefield Park near Reading in Berkshire. Bringing in the maximum number of ladies to this venue highlighted to the ladies what a great facility Wokefield Park is.  Two hotels on site ensure guests are accommodated as they wish.  An established 18 hole golf course wraps itself around one of the hotels and is easily located and accessible for London.
It was at this venue we did the draw for the golf holidays that had been given.
Four amazing venues in the UK coming together to provide the entrants an excellent opportunity to see more that their usual haunts, with accommodation at a special rate if required.

Across Europe stunning golf resorts offered golf holidays from 2 to 4 nights Bed and Breakfast and golf for two people:
