We support Breast Cancer Care - do you?

This year we once again ran the Red Tee Tour - a golf tournament just for ladies in the UK and once again the response was fantastic.  Over three great host venues being Meon Valley near Southampton, Dunston Hall near Norwich and Linden Hall near Newcastle we were able to offer the ladies a good choice of venues and dates to fit their diaries.
Meon Valley
A Marriott owned and managed resort boasting 27 holes of glorious golf.  9 holes and 18 holes both of which undulate to test the visiting golfer with the degree of difficulty for the golf holes not always being obvious, some subtle and some not so subtle twists and turns, elevated tees and inviting greens make this a good track to play with just rewards.  The four star hotel attached to the site has two restaurants and welcomes all visitors into its fold. Winners at Meon Valley were Viv Williams and Susie Hale from Burnham Beeches Golf Club.

A quick dash over to Dunston Hall meant we could host our second in the series for the Red Tee Tour. Dunston Hall with its impressive and imposing building - now the hotel, overlooking the golf course spread out in front on full view.  18 holes sit on site to this Q Hotel and with recent works the course played well and the ladies enjoyed their visit.  The staff at Dunston welcomed the ladies and went the extra mile to make sure they had a good day. Winners from Dunston Hall were Jane Monk and Lynn Lambert of Links Newmarket Golf Club.
Our final venue was MacDonald Linden Hall, a venue where we have hosted ladies golf events previously and they have been met very well, so we felt comfortable going back for the Red Tee Tour.  18 holes of challenging golf for our ladies, but they didn't let that deter their great play and were rewarded with the best food afterwards, courtesy of Linden Hall.  Winners from Linden Hall were Cath Oxley and Jacqueline Fennon both of Ryton Golf Club.
Our amazing lady golfers will be joined by Gilly Stimpson and Maria Conner of Hazelmere Golf Club who qualified as 'best of the rest' to make us  into a neat 8 ladies - two four balls with one pair winning a golf holiday in Spain courtesy of Lauro Golf and El Prat Golf.
